Last week we had a lovely couple staying at the Herb Cottage and they ordered a picnic hamper from Franci. It was a special occasion as Willem was proposing to Carmen!
The other day with all the hot weather the moths came out in profusion. Waiting to welcome people to the Herb Cottage were three beautiful Emperor Moths – Wahlberg’s Emperors, to be precise.

Last week folk from the cottage ordered a picnic from Franci, our chef. As it was a balmy winter day, they put a blanket on the lawn and settled into the picnic straight away.
Our dogs, Max and Lost are always keen to guide people down the river walk. There is no charge, and they are very willing!
